Stainless steel parts can be delivered in a range of surface finishes depending on the application. A mill finish is the as-received surface and is appropriate for concealed or industrial parts. A brushed finish provides a uniform directional grain that suits architectural and decorative applications. A polished or mirror finish is used where appearance is paramount.
CMV Fabrication can produce or source the surface finish each application requires and discusses finish options with the customer at the quoting stage. The finish is applied after all cutting and forming is complete and welding is done, so the final surface is free of fabrication marks.
