Transitioning from Prototype to Production at
CMV Fabrication

Once the prototype is approved, the transition to production at CMV Fabrication is direct. The CNC laser programs, press brake setups, and welding procedures developed during prototyping carry into the production run without retooling or reprogramming. Material sourcing for the production quantity can begin as soon as the prototype receives approval.

Buyers who anticipate moving from prototype to production can discuss expected volumes during the initial prototype conversation. Mentioning anticipated quantities does not commit the buyer to an order, but it allows CMV Fabrication to identify any design features that work well at prototype scale but may need adjustment for efficient volume production. That early planning keeps the transition from single unit to full run as seamless as possible.
