Prototype Turnaround and Revision Cycles at
CMV Fabrication

Standard prototype turnaround at CMV Fabrication runs five to ten business days from design approval. Parts with straightforward geometry and minimal welding fall toward the shorter end of that range. Multi-component welded assemblies or parts requiring powder coat finishing extend the timeline. CMV Fabrication provides an estimated completion date at quoting so the buyer can plan their development schedule around the prototype delivery.

Design revisions after prototype testing are a normal part of the development process. CMV Fabrication updates the CNC programs, adjusts the fabrication setup, and produces the revised prototype. Each revision cycle is shorter than the initial build because the baseline programming and tooling setup already exist. Most single-revision cycles complete within a few business days.
