What Makes a Design Work Well for Laser Cutting

Not every image translates well to laser cutting on a fire pit. Designs with strong contrast between open and solid areas produce the clearest results, because the firelight needs enough open steel to pass through and enough solid steel to define the shape. Fine lines, very small text, and densely packed detail tend to lose definition when cut into a curved surface at fire pit scale.

CMV Fabrication reviews each design for laser cut feasibility before production. If a submitted design has elements that would not hold up structurally or visually at the intended size, CMV suggests modifications that preserve the intent so the finished laser cut fire pit performs as expected.
