Comparing Laser Cut Fire Pits to Stamped and
Cast Alternatives

Stamped and cast fire pits are produced from molds, which limits the buyer to whatever patterns the manufacturer offers. A laser cut fire pit has no mold. The CNC laser follows whatever vector file it is given, so the design is limited only by what the steel can structurally support. That flexibility is the core reason buyers choose laser cut over mass-produced alternatives.

There is a cost difference. A stamped fire pit from a retail line costs less because the tooling is amortized across thousands of units. A laser cut fire pit from CMV Fabrication costs more because it is a one-off or short-run build with a unique design. The tradeoff is a piece that no one else has, built to a specification the buyer chose.
