Every welded joint at CMV Fabrication is inspected visually for profile and penetration as well as surface defects before the part moves to the next production step. Joints that will be hidden inside an assembly are held to structural standards. Joints that will be visible in the finished product are held to both structural and cosmetic standards.
Customers with specific inspection or certification requirements can communicate those at the quoting stage, and CMV Fabrication will incorporate them into the production workflow. This is common for industrial and commercial projects where weld documentation is part of the deliverable.
