Types of Metal Parts That Can Be Powder Coated at CMV Fabrication

Any metal part that conducts electricity and can withstand curing temperatures can be powder coated. In practice, this includes the majority of steel, aluminum, and iron components that CMV Fabrication encounters in its own manufacturing and that outside clients bring in for coating. Parts with attached non-metal components such as rubber seals, plastic fittings, or adhesive labels need those elements removed before coating, since the curing temperature will damage them.

Size is the primary physical constraint. The part must fit inside CMV Fabrication's curing oven. Within that envelope, the facility handles everything from small hardware batches to large single-piece assemblies. Clients with oversized parts should provide dimensions when requesting a quote so CMV Fabrication can confirm the oven accommodates the piece before scheduling the work.
