The matching process starts with a color sample, a RAL or Pantone reference number, or a physical part in the target color. CMV Fabrication matches the powder formulation to the target and applies a test sample for the client to approve before the full batch is coated.
Specialty finishes beyond solid colors are also available. Metallic finishes contain reflective particles that create a shimmer effect. Textured finishes produce a raised surface pattern that conceals minor surface imperfections in the substrate. High-temperature formulations are used for parts that will be exposed to heat in service, such as fire pits, exhaust components, and engine-adjacent hardware.
