Bed width, length, cab-to-axle dimension, frame rail spacing, and mounting point locations are all confirmed against the truck's specifications before fabrication begins. A flatbed that does not match the chassis creates mounting problems, affects weight distribution, and can interfere with the truck's suspension travel or exhaust routing.
Buyers provide the truck make, model, year, cab configuration, and wheelbase when requesting a quote. CMV Fabrication uses that information to generate the flatbed dimensions and confirm mounting compatibility. If the buyer is purchasing a new chassis that has not yet been delivered, the manufacturer's published specifications are sufficient to begin the design process.
