Niche Capacity and Layout Options for Columbarium Structures

Custom columbarium design begins with how many niches the structure needs to hold and how those niches should be arranged. A small freestanding columbarium for a church courtyard may contain twelve to twenty-four niches in a single-sided configuration. A cemetery columbarium wall intended to serve a growing community may hold several hundred niches across multiple sections, with the option to add capacity in future phases.

CMV Fabrication offers single-sided, double-sided, curved, and linear layout configurations. Niche sizes can be standardized or mixed within the same structure to accommodate both individual urns and companion niches designed for two. The layout is determined collaboratively with the client during the design phase, and CMV Fabrication produces detailed drawings for approval before fabrication begins.
